It is a kind of long staple cotton produced in Egypt. The quality is better than Xinjiang cotton, especially the strength and fineness. Generally, the cotton cloth with more than 150S must be added with Egyptian cotton, otherwise the cloth is easy to break.

Of course, the price of Egyptian cotton is also much more expensive. Many of the cotton labeled with Egyptian cotton on the market are not real Egyptian cotton. For example, the price of four sets of five percent Egyptian cotton is about 500, and the price of four sets of 100 percent Egyptian cotton is more than 2000 yuan.

In addition to Xinjiang cotton and Egypt cotton, there are American PIMA cotton, Indian cotton and so on.

Combed cotton yarn

It refers to the removal of short cotton fibers and impurities in the spinning process. Compared with carded cotton, combed cotton is smoother, has better wear resistance and strength, and is not easy to pilling. Combed cotton is used to make worsted garments.
