Polyester yarn
Polyester is a kind of polymer fiber made by spinning.
At present, they mostly refer to the fibers produced with ethyl phthalate as raw materials. According to the English name of their raw materials, "PET" fibers are abbreviated. It is commonly known as polyester in our country.
Pure polyester yarn is made of polyester staple fiber by spinning. There are different types of staple fiber, including cotton fiber with a length of about 37 mm, medium long fiber with a length of 51 mm to 57 mm, and wool fiber with a length of 75 mm to 105 mm.
In terms of thickness, there are fine denier fibers, which are about 1.5D, coarse denier fibers about 5D, and intermediate ones about 3D. Of course, there are even finer ones such as 1D, and even microfibers such as 0.1-0.5D.
Yarn is very fine, such as 50 or 60, it is best to use fine denier fiber spinning, so easy to spin evenly, good dry, less hair, if the fiber is longer, can increase the holding force, strength is better;
The spun yarn feels fine, on the contrary, the coarse denier yarn feels rough and has a better hairiness.
When spinning polyester staple yarn, it must be clear how thick the fiber is, how much length is, and generally know where the origin of the staple fiber is.
All-light polyester yarn: Polyester fiber surface smooth, woven fabric surface has a strong luster.
Semi-dull polyester yarn: The fabric woven with full-gloss polyester yarn has been treated with chemical reduction in the dyeing factory, which is to take advantage of the poor tolerance of polyester material to strong alkali and treat with sodium hydroxide, so that the surface of the polyester fiber will produce fine cracking and produce the matting effect. Semi-light polyester cloth appearance noble and generous, welcomed by the market.
Semi-gloss polyester yarn can also be understood as the use of various physical/chemical methods in the fiber manufacturing process to crack or rough the surface of the fiber, woven fabric with the same fabric reduction treatment effect.
Polyester yarn is a kind of raw material for weaving. The raw materials of weaving are collectively referred to as yarn or silk, corresponding to cotton yarn, artificial yarn (silk), nylon yarn (silk), wool yarn, hessian yarn and so on.
polyester yarn (polyester) is a kind of synthetic fiber. Its scientific name is polyethylene terephthalate (polyester). It has the property of not absorbing moisture (moisture recovery rate is 0.4%, cotton yarn is 8.5%). The woven fabric is easy to wash and dry, firm, and does not wrinkle easily.
